OUR WHY
Welcome to the Women’s Running Collective
A podcast and community created by women, for women, where every pace, every distance, and every runner is welcome.
We’re Hayley and Jussie, two friends who quite literally ran into each other during a run. Bonded by a shared love of movement, laughter, and deep chats on those good ol long run’s, we launched the Women’s Running Collective when we realised something was missing, a podcast just for female runners.
We wanted to create a space where women could feel safe to ask questions, share experiences, learn about their bodies, and feel seen whether you're training for a marathon, chasing a Parkrun PB, or lacing up for your very first run.
Every week, we record episodes full of real talk about running and life, from training and racing to pelvic floor health, parenting chaos, fuelling your body, interviews with other female runners and finding time to just be. There are belly laughs, honest convos, and loads of support for women at every stage of their running journey.
Meet the Hosts
Jussie
Mum of three boys, chiropractor, kinesiologist, netball tragic and all-round human Labrador. She's sunshine in a pair of runners, she rarely looks at her watch (if she remembers to put it on), and happily shows up to run even if the session starts at 5am in the rain. Jussie's deep understanding of the female body brings so much value to our chats about health, hormones, injuries, and everything in between.
Hayley
Also a mum of two boys, Hayley comes from a background in marketing and beauty therapy and yes, her running hat usually matches something. A bit more of rule-follower and plan-lover, she lives for a structured training block and treats Strava like Instagram. Hayley’s also represented Australia in whitewater canoe slalom and sprint triathlon (in her age group), so she knows a thing or two about performance, discipline, and balancing life with sport.
Why We’re Here
We believe that running is for every woman, no matter your speed, shape, size, or background. Our goal is to build an inclusive, encouraging space where women can connect, grow, and fall in love with running without pressure, judgement, or comparison.
Whether you're tuning into the podcast on a solo jog, sharing it with your run crew, or just here for the laughs and learning a HUGE thank you for being part of our community. We hope to grow this community to support and encourage more women to find a love of running.
HAPPY RUNNING X LOVE HAYLES AND JUSSIE
